Asparagus with Lemon Butter

This recipe is a perfect diet dish for all vegetarians and health-conscious people. Enjoy the indulging taste of asparagus mixed with lemon butter. This recipe yields 8- 10 servings.

Asparagus with Lemon Butter

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs fresh asparagus, washed and trimmed
  • 2 Tbs lemon juice
  • 4 Tbs butter
  • Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste

Directions

  1. First, Steam the asparagus until tender but crisp, about 10 minutes, and
    plunge into cold water to stop the cooking and set the color.
  2. And then, melt the butter in a small saucepan and stir in the lemon juice, salt, and
    pepper.
  3. Meanwhile, Chill the asparagus and pour the lemon butter over them prior to transporting.
  4. Asparagus with Lemon Butter is ready to serve!
